Shelvas makes fall detection smartwatches for older adults who want to keep living independently, and for the adult children who want to know their parent can reach help fast. We build two watches for two kinds of households. The Shelvas Sense has a built-in SIM and works anywhere there is cellular coverage, with no phone or base station to set up, made for an active parent who is often out of the house. The Shelvas Halo connects through WiFi and Bluetooth as a simpler, lower cost option for someone who is mostly at home. Both are designed to do three things well: detect a fall, make it easy to call for help, and stay comfortable enough that it actually gets worn every day.

We try to be straight with you. No fall detection catches every fall, and we will never claim otherwise. What we promise instead is a device built to do its job, clear setup instructions, and a real person who answers when you email us. Setting up a parent's watch from across the country can be stressful, and we work to make that part as easy as the watch itself. If something is not right, tell us, and we will work with you to fix it.
